Slinger raises £500k in pre-seed funding led by Fuel Ventures to modernise hospitality recruitment.
Fuel Ventures led the pre-seed round, which will fund product development, marketing, and team expansion.
Slinger operates a hospitality job platform in the UK that connects workers with employers while ensuring real living wage pay. The company seeks to replace traditional recruitment methods like CVs and trial shifts with streamlined digital tools.
London based hospitality platform Slinger has secured £500k in a pre-seed funding round led by Fuel Ventures. The capital will be directed towards product development, paid acquisition efforts to drive client growth, and expanding the internal team.
The funding arrives as the UK hospitality sector continues to grapple with severe staff shortages and recruitment inefficiencies following Brexit and the pandemic. Slinger aims to address these challenges by providing flexible shift work that guarantees the Real Living Wage, eliminating traditional roadblocks such as CV vetting and trial shifts.
