SLAMcore develops spatial artificial intelligence software and tools that enable autonomous robots and drones to navigate complex environments. The company provides affordable spatial intelligence solutions designed to integrate into existing hardware platforms.

London-based spatial intelligence developer Slamcore has raised £10.4m in funding to scale its site safety and fleet efficiency software. The round was backed by ROKStar Ventures alongside several existing institutional supporters.

The capital arrives as industrial operators increasingly seek ways to address safety concerns and productivity bottlenecks on warehouse floors. Slamcore supplies visual AI technology that monitors vehicle movements and near misses without requiring GPS or physical infrastructure changes.

The business intends to deploy the fresh resources to support its expanding footprint across facilities in Europe and North America while gathering operational data to train future physical AI models.

From the founder

"Operations managers in factories and warehouses have largely been flying blind when it comes to their manual fleets. Slamcore Aware and Slamcore Alert change that from day one, without disruption to existing operations. ROKStar Ventures’ investment tells us that the industry’s most sophisticated players see this as a foundational infrastructure, not just another point solution. As our footprint grows, so does a body of real-world operational data that does not exist anywhere else and that will become the backbone for the next generation of physical AI."

Investor perspective

"Most approaches either require significant infrastructure investment or fail to hold up in the dynamic, unpredictable conditions of an active facility. The potential for the same technology platform to work on every class of autonomous and human-operated industrial vehicle is key. We’re also incredibly excited about their ability to scale without requiring complex and time-consuming vehicle or facility redesigns."
