Skew builds cryptocurrency data analytics tools and visualization dashboards tailored for institutional clients and corporate traders.

London-based cryptocurrency analytics startup Skew has secured £1.6m in seed funding to expand its engineering capabilities and develop institutional features. The round was led by FirstMinute Capital, with additional backing from Seedcamp, Kima Ventures, QCP Capital and Kleiner Perkins.

The capital injection coincides with the launch of skewAnalytics, a platform offering real-time insights across more than 100 crypto futures and options charts. Co-founders Emmanuel Goh and Tim Noat established the ten-person firm after backgrounds trading flow derivatives at major financial institutions.

The fresh funding will support the company as it builds out advanced tooling for corporate clients navigating the growing digital asset derivatives landscape.

Investor perspective

"As a former trader I’ve found many of their tools (some forthcoming) to feel the most trading floor-native or Bloomberg-esque and am excited to see how they evolve the product as the crypto derivatives space grows exponentially in the next year,"
