Simul Software has secured £150k in seed funding from Maven to develop its new virtual reality streaming technology, SimulCaster. The investment will allow the Liverpool based simulation software developer to build the product to a fully working prototype ahead of a planned commercial launch next year.
The capital is delivered through the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund via Maven Equity Finance. Simul previously gained industry recognition for pioneering real time raytracing in its flagship trueSKY product, which serves clients across gaming, simulation, and entertainment markets.
