SICCAR secures £1.3m seed investment from Par Equity to expand product and customer teams
Par Equity leads seed round to fund team expansion and product development at data sharing platform.
SICCAR provides a distributed ledger platform that enables organisations to share sensitive data securely across supply chains and public services. The firm connects entities to remove friction from digital interactions while ensuring accountability and data protection.
Edinburgh-based technology firm SICCAR has secured £1.3m in a seed funding round led by Par Equity. The capital will be directed towards product development and expanding the company customer and executive teams.
Originally known as Wallet Services, the company provides a data sharing platform utilising distributed ledger technology. Its software has been deployed in manufacturing supply chains and across the Scottish public sector to handle processes ranging from student support to health and social care interactions.
The latest investment follows the company's earlier participation in the Scottish Government CivTech accelerator programme. With backing from its new investor, SICCAR aims to scale its operations and compete on an international level.
