YFM Equity Partners has backed enterprise software provider SharpCloud in a Series A round to support international expansion and product development.
SharpCloud develops enterprise visualisation software designed to help large organisations map complex data and improve executive decision making.
SharpCloud has secured £4.5m in a Series A funding round led by YFM Equity Partners. The company provides enterprise software that enables large organisations to visualise complex data across different lines of business and improve executive decision making.
The capital comes from YFM's two advised venture capital trusts, alongside YFM Equity Partners Growth II LP. The funding will be deployed to expand operations in the UK and the US, scale the team, and accelerate the development of the company technology.
Founded in 2012 by Sarim Khan and Rusty Johnson, the business has seen rapid adoption of its enterprise product over the past two years among clients ranging from Rolls Royce to the US Federal Government.
From the founder
"We're really excited to have found and partnered with an investor, in YFM, that understands and shares our vision. This round of funding comes at a time where we have begun to experience rapid growth, with the SharpCloud product continually garnering rave reviews and subsequent viral effects taking hold. We're now able to capitalise on the huge opportunity that lies ahead. We have built a great relationship with Adam and Jamie during the process and have enjoyed their straight-forward and pragmatic approach. We're delighted to have YFM join the team."
