Serene develops an artificial intelligence platform designed to help financial services firms identify and support vulnerable customers. The software combines behavioural insights with machine learning to enable early detection of distress.
Serene has secured £930k in pre-seed backing to expand its artificial intelligence platform for identifying customer vulnerability in financial services. The round was led by Fuel Ventures, with additional participation from NatWest Group, Oxford Seed Fund, and specialist angels.
The capital will support the company as it grows its headcount, develops its technology stack, and scales operations. The raise also reinforces an ongoing strategic partnership between Serene and NatWest Group.
Chief executive Savannah Price noted that the funds mark a significant milestone for the business as it looks to broaden its market reach and refine its consumer vulnerability engine.
