Sention Technologies has secured £3.7m in a seed funding round led by Twin Path Ventures. The capital will be directed towards accelerating commercialisation of the firm's ultrasound instruments and artificial intelligence software, alongside research and development efforts for production line integration and broader international customer acquisition.
The London-based business has built proprietary contactless technology that evaluates the internal condition of batteries through acoustic scanning. This method pairs with software to forecast degradation and enhance safety protocols for manufacturers and fleet operators.
