Sen raises £2m in seed funding led by Mercia to finance satellite manufacturing.
The investment round was led by Mercia and will fund the production of two new satellites.
Sen is a space technology company developing a constellation of satellites to stream real-time ultra high-definition video of Earth. It offers free services to the general public alongside commercial video products for business users.
London-based space technology company Sen has secured £2m in a seed funding round led by Mercia. The capital will enable the firm to place orders for two additional satellites ahead of a planned Series A round early next year.
Founded in 2014 by Charles Black, Sen plans to build a constellation of over 100 satellites to stream real-time footage of Earth. The company launched its first satellite earlier this year and intends to release a dedicated viewing application soon.
