Semeris has secured a seed investment from QVentures to accelerate its expansion into the United States and broaden its asset class coverage. The legal technology startup develops contract analysis products designed to assist financial services firms with reviewing, analysing, and summarising complex legal documentation.
Founded by industry veterans, the company serves clients ranging from boutique investment firms to global systemically important banks. The fresh capital will support the firm as it scales its capital markets legal AI products across Europe and North America.
