SegmentStream raises £2.1m in seed funding led by Fort Ross Ventures for cookie-free analytics
The seed round was led by Fort Ross Ventures alongside OKS Group and angel investors.
SegmentStream provides a cookie-less online marketing analytics platform that helps brands evaluate and optimise digital advertising performance. The company serves more than 100 global clients with a team of 30 employees across five countries.
SegmentStream has secured £2.1m in a seed funding round to support its cookie-free marketing analytics platform. The investment was led by Fort Ross Ventures, with participation from OKS Group and several high-profile angel investors including founders from Dynamic Yield and Pipedrive.
The capital arrives as marketers face mounting pressure from the phasing out of third-party cookies across major browsers and platforms. SegmentStream applies machine learning to first-party user behaviour data to deliver predictive attribution and help brands measure advertising effectiveness.
The company intends to use the fresh funds to double its headcount during 2022. Established by Pavel Petrinich, Oleg Katryshev, and Constantine Yurevich, the TechStars alumnus currently serves over 100 international customers.
From the founder
"It is technologically impossible to rely on the old cookie-based approach for the proper calculation of ROAS, since most advertising clicks don’t get the credit they deserve,"
