Scoodle raises $2m in seed funding from Google, IFG and DA One to build tutor influencers.
Google, IFG and DA One backed the online learning platform in its latest financing round.
Scoodle is an online learning platform that connects students with independent tutors through a content driven approach. The service allows educators to showcase their knowledge and resources prior to bookings.
Scoodle has secured $2m in seed funding from investors including Google, IFG and DA One. The capital follows a pre-seed round raised last year by the education platform.
Founded by Ismail Jeilani, Imdad Ahad and Mujavid Bukhari, the company operates a marketplace that charges zero commission on bookings. The platform uses content creation tools to help students evaluate tutors before booking lessons.
The business has seen rapid growth since the onset of the pandemic, reporting a tenfold increase in monthly users. The fresh capital will support the ongoing expansion of its tutor network and content infrastructure.
