SAPI provides a payment-linked financing platform that enables marketplaces and payment providers to embed automated lending directly into transaction flows. Operating from London and Hanoi, the business focuses on extending credit access to underserved small enterprises.
London based fintech start-up SAPI has closed a £7.5m equity fundraising round to scale its presence in Europe, onboard new strategic partners, and improve its product offerings. The financing was put together entirely by existing shareholders who reinvested for the third time at an increased valuation.
The round features backing from prominent investors and founders, including Passion Capital, Tom Blomfield, Martin Kissinger, Luca Martinetti, Raffaele Terrone, Lopo Champalimaud, Oscar Pierre, Niccolò Maisto, Michele Attisani, and Will Neale.
