SAPI raises $80m in debt and equity led by Hudson Cove to expand its embedded finance platform.

SAPI provides a payment-linked financing platform that enables marketplaces and payment providers to embed automated lending directly into transaction flows. Operating from London and Hanoi, the business focuses on extending credit access to underserved small enterprises.
SAPI has secured $80m in a debt and equity transaction, comprising approximately $75m in debt and $5m of equity funding. Hudson Cove led the financing package, with ongoing backing from existing equity supporters Triple A Capital and Passion Capital.
The capital will be deployed to scale the firm's repayment-at-source technology and broaden its geographical reach. The credit facility term sheet was finalised seventeen days after initial discussions.
SAPI's technology facilitates automated loan repayments directly from merchant revenue streams. The platform has previously advanced more than $40m to small businesses, with a significant proportion led by women or immigrants.
