Samudra Oceans builds AI-powered monitoring robots to support sustainable seaweed farming and the blue economy. The startup provides subsea automation technology that helps farmers track yields and reduce operational costs.

Samudra Oceans has secured £800k in a pre-seed funding round to support its aquaculture technology. British Design Fund contributed £150k to the financing. The capital will enable the business to manufacture additional prototypes and deploy its monitoring systems across new international markets. Samudra Oceans has created artificial intelligence-driven static robots that assist seaweed farmers by tracking crop yields and reducing labour requirements.
