Salience Labs has secured £9.4m in seed financing to advance its multi-chip processor technology for artificial intelligence. The round was jointly led by Cambridge Innovation Capital and Oxford Science Enterprises, with participation from Oxford Investment Consultants, Jalal Bagherli, Silicon Catalyst, the Goh Family Office, and Deeptech Labs. The capital will support the commercialisation of the company architecture, which pairs photonic processing with standard electronics to deliver high-speed computing performance within tight power envelopes.
