Manchester digital agency RUN2 has secured £500k in seed funding from >_fund:tmt to develop and implement a new artificial intelligence platform for client hyper-personalisation. The injection of capital follows a period of expansion for the company, which recorded annual turnover approaching £1m for the previous year.

The freshly secured funds will be directed towards launching new products and services, alongside supporting the agency as it rolls out recommendation engines. In tandem with the funding announcement, the firm has named David Walters as chairman and Alison Clifford as financial controller to guide its ongoing growth strategy.
