RoleMapper secures £1.8m in seed funding led by Mercia to advance its job design platform
The Exeter-based HR technology firm secured backing from Mercia alongside existing investor Qantx to drive platform development and international expansion.
RoleMapper provides an artificial intelligence platform designed to help large organisations organise jobs, enhance workforce diversity, and implement skills-based hiring. The company operates from Exeter and serves clients across the United Kingdom and the United States.
RoleMapper has secured £1.8m in a seed funding round led by Mercia, with participation from existing backer Qantx and private investors. The capital will be deployed to accelerate product development, expand the client base internationally, and grow the existing team.
The Exeter-based enterprise provides automated job design software that enables global businesses to restructure roles, improve workplace flexibility, and adopt skills-based recruitment practices. The platform aims to shorten organisational restructuring timelines from years to weeks.
The latest injection follows previous backing from Qantx and angel investors in 2020. The company intends to utilise the new funds to introduce additional platform features and strengthen its sales and marketing operations.
