RegGenome is a Cambridge spin-out that structures regulatory information into machine-readable data using artificial intelligence. The firm builds an open framework to help institutions manage compliance and regulatory intelligence.
RegGenome has secured $6m in seed funding to develop its regulatory data structures. Evolution Equity Partners led the round, with participation from AlbionVC, Cambridge Enterprise, and Mastercard.
The capital will support the company as it expands its AI-powered platform for converting unstructured regulatory information into machine-readable formats. Richard Seewald of Evolution Equity Partners joins the company board following the investment.
The funding follows the origins of RegGenome from the Regulatory Genome Project at the University of Cambridge. The firm aims to provide vendor-neutral data to simplify compliance and risk management across multiple jurisdictions.
