RankedRight operates a triage platform that automates vulnerability ranking for IT security teams. The system follows pre-set rules to order security threats by business impact.
RankedRight has secured a seed investment from angel investor Sumit Siddharth, following a recent funding round of $500k. Siddharth joins the business as an investor and advisor, bringing extensive experience from the IT security sector.
The company provides a triage platform designed to help IT security teams manage information overload by automating the prioritisation of vulnerabilities. Chief executive Thomas MacKenzie noted strong interest from the market since the platform launched.
Siddharth previously founded NotSoSecure, which was acquired by the Claranet Group in 2018, and currently mentors infosec entrepreneurs through his initiative Disruptrs.
From the founder
"We have been overwhelmed by the interest in our business from potential investors, advisors and customers since launching last month and to have Sid on board is yet more evidence that we are going to make a real difference to the industry."

"I am delighted to be working with Thomas MacKenzie and the incredibly talented team at RankedRight. At Disruptrs, we pride ourselves in identifying the best talent and developing great intellectual property and products to help solve real world problems. Vulnerability Management, even in today’s day and age is death by information overload. The team at RankedRight is working to help clients make better sense of this information by adding more structure, prioritisation routines and other weird and wonderful things.
