Rahko builds quantum machine learning software designed to accelerate chemical simulation and discovery. The company works alongside major hardware manufacturers and industrial partners to solve complex computational problems.

Rahko has secured £1.3m in seed funding to expand its specialist team and advance its quantum machine learning platform. The round was led by Balderton Capital, with participation from AI Seed and a group of prominent angel investors. The capital will enable the firm to recruit talent globally and tackle more ambitious research in chemical simulation.

The company was established to address the computational limitations of classical computers in chemistry and materials science. By combining hybrid algorithms and quantum software, Rahko aims to make quantum capabilities commercially usable for enterprise applications.

Investor perspective
