Qured raises £1.2m through Seedrs and SeedLegals to expand its on-demand medical service.
The doctor-on-demand application closed the crowd and angel raise at a post-money valuation of £5.2m.
Qured operates a mobile application that dispatches doctors to patients on demand. The company launched in 2017 and offers private healthcare services in London.
Qured has secured £1.2m in a joint funding round utilising the Seedrs and SeedLegals platforms, achieving a post-money valuation of £5.2m. The company provides an on-demand application that sends doctors directly to patients, offering an alternative to traditional GP appointments and hospital visits.
The capital will support the company as it extends its operational footprint across London to cover Zone 2, building on its existing coverage in Zone 1 and South West London. Alongside the funding, Qured has expanded its team with three senior appointments across medical leadership, sales, and technical development to support its network of registered medical professionals.
From the founder
"We’re delighted to welcome Dr Sandeep, Hiten and Yann to our growing team at Qured at such an exciting time in the company’s journey. From initially just covering Clapham to now providing our service to South West London and Zones 1 and 2 in just over six months is both fulfilling and exciting. It reinforces our belief that there is a heightened demand for an affordable and convenient healthcare service which works around people’s lives, offering easier, quicker and hassle-free access to primary healthcare."
