Quant Network secures seed investment from Alpha Sigma Capital

Alpha Sigma Capital led the seed investment to help Quant Network expand its blockchain interoperability technology into new markets.

Quant Network provides enterprise grade interoperability solutions connecting private distributed ledger technologies and public blockchains. Headquartered in London, the firm is recognised as a Gartner Cool Vendor.

Quant Network has secured a seed investment from Alpha Sigma Capital to expand the capabilities of digital assets and drive adoption across the United States financial system. The funding will support the company as it brings its blockchain operating system, Overledger OS, to new markets and institutions. Alpha Sigma Capital led the investment, drawing on its background in capital markets to help position Quant for growth among central banks and financial networks.

The partnership builds on previous testing of cross blockchain interoperability conducted by Quant and SIA Europe on the SIAnet network. By enabling different distributed ledger technology protocols to communicate, Quant aims to help legacy financial infrastructure transition towards multi DLT capabilities. Both firms plan to work closely on developing interoperable solutions for exchanges and regulatory bodies.
