London based supply chain transparency platform Provenance has secured £650k in funding led by Angel Academe. The capital will support the ongoing development of its blockchain based product tracking systems.

Participation in the round came from a roster of backers including Humanity United, Merian Ventures, Digital Currency Group, and Plug and Play Tech Center. A selection of angel investors also contributed to the raise, including Scott Bell and John Taysom.

The company has also strengthened its advisory group with the addition of Brian Fitzpatrick, Gavin Starks, and Lily Cole.
