Privitar provides a leading data privacy platform that helps organisations protect sensitive information and meet regulatory standards. The company works with major financial institutions and healthcare providers to manage data securely at scale.

Privacy engineering software provider Privitar has secured £13m in a Series A funding round. Partech Ventures led the financing, with contributions from CME Ventures, Salesforce Ventures, and existing backers IQ Capital, 24Haymarket and Illuminate Financial. The capital will support product roadmap acceleration and international expansion into the United States.

The raise highlights growing corporate focus on data privacy amid stricter regulatory frameworks such as the General Data Protection Regulation. Privitar provides software that allows enterprises to run advanced analytics and machine learning applications on sensitive data without compromising security.
