Manchester-based smart sportswear brand Prevayl raises £7.5m from Stonebridge to fund laboratories, hiring, and product development.
Prevayl designs smart sportswear that integrates advanced biometric sensors into luxury apparel to track physiological data. Based in Manchester, the company combines discreet fashion aesthetics with health monitoring technology.
Manchester-based intelligent sportswear startup Prevayl has secured £7.5m in a seed funding round led by Stonebridge. The fresh capital will be deployed to equip state-of-the-art laboratories and fitness areas, fund new hires, support garment design, and advance intellectual property creation. Founded in 2019, the company combines luxury apparel design with embedded biometric sensors and software to monitor wearer performance and recovery.
The investment allows Prevayl to leverage the Torque Brands eCommerce platform to accelerate its commercial rollout ahead of its consumer launch. The firm has built an in-house intellectual property department and developed proprietary hardware designed to track metrics ranging from electrocardiogram data to breathing states.
