London-based digital health company Prema Cognition has secured £550k in an oversubscribed funding round led by SFC Capital. The raise, which exceeded its initial target due to strong demand, drew participation from a syndicate of experienced angel investors across life sciences, enterprise software, and longevity.
The capital will be directed towards expanding clinical datasets to validate the company technology, advancing regulatory pathways, and broadening deployment across healthcare and research environments. The firm develops PREMAZ, a memory assessment platform designed to detect cognitive changes years before conventional diagnostics.
The investment arrives as new disease-modifying therapies for Alzheimer's disease place a premium on early intervention. Prema Cognition plans to use the backing to accelerate its commercial and clinical footprint, building on its existing presence in clinics across the UK and the US.
