Newcastle-based events marketplace Poptop has secured £440k in a seed follow-on funding round. The capital was provided by existing backers DSW Ventures and NorthStar Ventures, drawing from the North East Innovation Fund. The fresh investment will enable the company to advance its technology platform and accelerate international expansion.
