Pollinate raises £70m in series B funding led by National Australia Bank
National Australia Bank led the series B round to support the platform's international expansion.
Pollinate is a global software business that partners with banks to help them enhance relationships with their business customers. The company provides a cloud-based toolkit that allows banks to offer a unified marketplace for small and medium-sized enterprises.
Pollinate has secured £70m in a series B investment round led by National Australia Bank. The funds will support the company as it expands its global reach and deploys its digital merchant service platform to small and medium enterprises. National Australia Bank joins existing backers including NatWest, Mastercard, EFM Asset Management and Motive Partners in backing the firm.
The platform allows banks to offer digital invoicing, business insights, third-party application integrations and loyalty programs through a single system. Pollinate follows a model of partnering with one leading bank per geography, with the technology already launched as Tyl by NatWest in the UK and new expansions underway internationally.
