PlanetWatchers has secured £10.1m in a Series A funding round co-led by Seraphim Space and Creative Ventures. Additional backing came from The Trendlines Agrifood Fund, BIG Capital, and Ridgeline Partners. The proceeds will be directed towards advancing synthetic aperture radar data analytics and scaling commercial operations to meet growing demand in the agricultural sector.
The London-based business specialises in delivering reliable crop insights and claims analysis for insurers using advanced machine learning and radar technology. This latest injection of capital follows a pre-series A round closed in June 2021 as the company looks to expand its footprint.
