Share allotment filed at Companies House

London based artificial intelligence startup that builds software to accelerate engineering simulations.

PhysicsX has secured $135m in a Series B funding round led by Atomico. The capital will enable the London startup to expand internationally, particularly in North America, and develop larger physics foundation models for industrial applications. General Catalyst, which led the previous Series A round, also participated alongside a group of new and existing backers.

Founded in 2019, the company provides artificial intelligence tools designed to compress the time required for engineering simulations from days into seconds. Its technology assists sectors such as aerospace, automotive, and semiconductor manufacturing by predicting aerodynamics and structural stress rapidly.

From the founder

"The tectonic plates of the whole global economy are being reshaped by industrial manufacturing. Geopolitical currents and the questions of sovereignty and supply chain resilience are most strongly felt here. At the same time, innovation within these fields has never been more urgent. We’re building into that unmet need,"
