Pharmacierge operates an e-prescription delivery platform for private clinicians, combining proprietary electronic prescription and dispensary management systems. The company runs its own central London dispensary and uses technology to streamline medication supply and compliance.

Pharmacierge has secured £1.3m in a seed financing round led by prominent technology angel investors Alex Chesterman and Simon Franks, with participation from several leading medical practitioners. The fresh capital will support the company in expanding its footprint across the UK and internationally, while also growing its clinician network.

The healthtech firm provides same day prescription delivery in London and next day delivery across the rest of the UK. Its core product, the mPrescribe app, integrates electronic prescription and dispensary management systems to cut down administrative tasks for private medical practices. The platform was developed to navigate the complex compliance requirements of the regulated healthcare sector.

Demand for digital healthcare services has grown following the pandemic, as patients and clinicians increasingly rely on remote solutions and home deliveries. Pharmacierge utilizes its own full stack technology and maintains a formulary that surpasses the range of medicines listed by average NHS trusts.

From the founder

"Pharmacierge has grown rapidly in the last few years but to have our users, including many of the UK’s leading independent clinicians, support us through investment is a great testament to our dispensary and tech teams and the value we bring to practices and patients. We’ve delivered to a departure lounge and backstage before a rock concert. It all starts with the philosophy of saying yes, we can try to do that."
