PetsApp provides a client engagement platform that connects pet owners with veterinary practices. The application facilitates virtual care interactions, appointment management and payment processing.

London-based veterinary client engagement platform PetsApp has secured $4.4m in a seed round led by Point Nine. The financing includes backing from Adjacent, GFC, Market One Capital and several prominent angel investors.

The capital will be directed towards product development and expanding the platform's presence in the US and other international markets.

Founded in January 2020, the company provides tools that help veterinary clinics manage workflows, handle payments and communicate with pet owners. The platform has gained traction across numerous clinics, supporting hundreds of thousands of virtual care interactions.

Investor perspective

"There’s no one pet owners trust more with their pet’s health than their vet. Vet clinics can now build closer relationships with owners while doing their jobs more effectively. Backing Thom and Will with their unique level of sector insight combined with consumers’ increased expectations to interact digitally makes the startup an incredible opportunity to transform an entire market."
