Percayso Inform secures £3.4m seed investment led by Praetura Ventures to expand market reach
The Manchester-based venture capital firm led the round to support product development and entry into new insurance sectors.
Percayso Inform is an insurance data intelligence provider that turns data into insights for brokers, insurers and MGAs. The company recently expanded its footprint through the acquisition of Cazana, now branded as Percayso Vehicle Intelligence.
Percayso Inform has secured £3.4m in a seed funding round led by Manchester-based investor Praetura Ventures. The insurtech company will use the capital to accelerate product development and expand its footprint within the UK insurance market.
Launched in 2019, Percayso Inform provides a data intelligence hub that assists insurers with fraud prevention and risk assessment. The latest financing follows a period of growth for the business, which has scaled its founding team to 22 people.
Praetura Ventures led the transaction, with the deal facilitated by firm directors and supported by legal advisors at Irwin Mitchell. The investment forms part of a broader period of activity for the insurtech sector.
