Peanut has secured £9.7m in a Series A funding round led by EQT Ventures, with participation from Index Ventures and Female Founders Fund. The capital brings the company's total funding to $21.8m and will support the launch of new communities for women, including spaces dedicated to the menopause.

Alongside the investment, Lyle Fong of EQT Ventures will assist with product strategy, and Naza Metghalchi will join the company board. Index Ventures previously led the platform's earlier funding round.
