Oxwash raises £10m in a Series A round led by Untitled VC to expand its green laundry network
The Series A round was led by Untitled VC and will support national expansion and technological development.
Oxwash provides sustainable, on-demand laundry and wet cleaning services using advanced technology and eco-friendly processes. The company operates facilities known as lagoons and serves both domestic and commercial clients.
Oxwash has secured £10m in a Series A funding round led by Untitled VC to expand its nationwide operations and decarbonise the laundry sector. Returning backers such as Biz Stone, Paul Forster, Holly and Sam Branson, alongside various venture funds, also participated in the financing. The capital will be directed towards building a large processing facility, developing software technology, and scaling the green cleaning infrastructure ahead of international expansion.
Founded in 2017, the company combines space-age sterilisation techniques with electric vehicle logistics to offer an alternative to traditional dry cleaning. The latest investment brings the total funding raised by Oxwash to £15.7m, following a period of strong commercial growth that includes quadrupling revenue over the past year. The business intends to scale its services further among large commercial clients in the hospitality and circular fashion sectors.
From the founder
"This new funding will be used primarily to develop our technology and invest deeply into the complete decarbonisation of our proprietary washing process."

Investor perspective
"Oxwash is a perfect example of a company that is using advanced technology to improve the product, while making the world a better place at the same time. By continuing to invest in innovation and bringing the service to more people, there is a huge opportunity here to scale up and take on the traditional laundry sector."
