Oxford Cancer Analytics develops blood tests for early cancer detection using advanced proteomics and machine learning. The firm focuses on minimally invasive diagnostics to improve patient outcomes in oncology.

Oxford Cancer Analytics has secured £1.3m in a seed funding round to scale its operations and expand its team. The investment saw backing from several prominent organisations, including Cancer Research UK and Civilisation Ventures. The capital will be deployed to accelerate growth and build out specialist capabilities as the firm targets broader clinical adoption.

The company applies advanced machine learning techniques to patient data alongside liquid biopsy approaches to identify lung cancer during its initial stages. Preliminary results indicate significant improvements in early detection rates compared with conventional diagnostic methods. With fresh capital secured, the founders plan to deepen partnerships with medical institutions globally.
