Oxford Cancer Analytics develops protein based blood tests for the early detection of lung cancer using advanced proteomics and artificial intelligence.
Oxford Cancer Analytics has secured $11m in Series A funding to advance its early cancer detection technology. The round was led by We Venture Capital and Cross-Border Impact Ventures, with backing from existing investors Eka Ventures and Civilization Ventures. Additional participants included DigitalDx Ventures, Macmillan Cancer Support, Aurelium Ventures, OKG Capital, and several angel investors.
The capital will be used to develop and commercialise the company's minimally invasive liquid biopsy blood tests for lung cancer. Following the investment, Gemma Sturt of We Venture Capital and Annie Theriault of Cross-Border Impact Ventures have joined the company board of directors.
