OW raises £1m in seed funding from Parkwalk Advisors to expand its team and develop smell technologies.
The seed round was led by Parkwalk Advisors to support team expansion and product development.
OW combines artificial intelligence and proprietary hardware to digitise and print smells for various applications. Its initial focus is on improving human sleep quality through personalised scent delivery.
OW has secured £1m in seed funding led by Parkwalk Advisors to develop its digital smell technology. The capital will enable the company to expand its team and progress the development of its multi-channel Scent Delivery Device alongside its cloud-based software.
Formed as a spinout from the University of Sussex and UCL, the company builds tools to introduce olfactory capabilities into human-computer interaction. Its projects span academic research, healthcare solutions and immersive commercial experiences.
