Outpost VFX secures multi-million pound investment from YFM Equity Partners to scale internationally.
The funding from YFM will support infrastructure development, proprietary platform expansion, and international growth.
Outpost VFX is a visual effects studio operating across multiple international locations to deliver high-end digital content for film and television. Founded in 2013 and headquartered in Bournemouth, the company creates complex visual assets for major Hollywood studios and global streaming platforms.
Outpost VFX has secured a multi-million pound investment from funds managed by YFM Equity Partners to support its international expansion plans. The capital will be used to enhance the company infrastructure, develop proprietary machine learning and training platforms, and scale operations across its four studios in Bournemouth, London, Montreal, and Los Angeles.
The funding arrives alongside the appointment of industry veteran Robin Shenfield as chair of the board. Outpost partners with major streaming services and film studios, including Netflix, Amazon, and Universal, delivering visual effects for high-profile projects such as News of the World and Watchmen.
