Ori Biotech has successfully raised £7m in a seed financing round to bring its manufacturing platform to market. The investment was backed by a syndicate of British venture firms including Amadeus Capital Partners, Delin Ventures, and Kindred Capital, alongside a London-based family office and early angel supporters. The newly secured capital will support the commercialisation of the company technology, which aims to address clinical and commercial manufacturing bottlenecks in the cell and gene therapy sector. The announcement coincides with the appointment of Jason C. Foster as chief executive officer.
