Orchestra develops a control plane that integrates data pipeline orchestration with managed artificial intelligence agents.
Orchestra has secured $3.3m in seed financing led by Differential Ventures, with participation from Moonfire, Breakers, Tokyo Black, and Contour Venture Partners. The new capital brings the company's total funding to $4.6m.
Founded in 2023 by Hugo Lu and Will Davies, Orchestra provides a unified control plane that blends data pipeline orchestration with managed artificial intelligence agents. The platform aims to reduce the maintenance burden on data engineers by automating workflows and offering a serverless environment for running agents.
The fresh funding will be directed towards expanding engineering and go-to-market teams in London, alongside growth initiatives across the United States and Europe.
From the founder
"We both experienced firsthand the problems data engineers have with complexity before we founded the company,"
Hugo Lu
Co-founder and CEO at Orchestra
Investor perspective
"The industry has only seen the tip of the iceberg of enterprise AI adoption, and one of the most significant barriers to powerful AI systems deployed in production is reliable data pipeline management. Orchestra’s platform represents a major leap forward toward that objective by delivering a single data orchestration layer that customers love,"
