ORCA Computing has secured £2.9m in a pre-seed financing round led by Atmos Ventures. The raise included participation from Oxford Sciences Innovation and Quantonation, alongside grant funding from Innovate UK.

The capital will be directed towards constructing the firm's optical fiber based quantum computer and advancing its roadmap to deliver scaled down processing tools for strategic partners.
