Orca AI secures £54.2m Series B funding led by Brighton Park Capital

Orca AI provides an artificial intelligence platform designed to improve safety and operational efficiency in the global shipping sector. The company builds automated navigation tools and situational awareness systems for commercial fleets.
Orca AI has secured £54.2m in Series B funding to accelerate the development of its autonomous maritime technology. Brighton Park Capital led the financing round, which also drew participation from existing backers Ankona Capital and Hyperlink Ventures.
The fresh capital will be deployed to advance the company's autonomous navigation platform, expand its feature set, and push into new verticals including defence and security. This transaction elevates Orca AI's total funding raised to date to $111m following contributions from previous investors.
The business utilises computer vision and machine learning to assist vessel crews with collision avoidance and route optimisation. Its platform is currently deployed across more than one thousand vessels operated by major international shipping lines.
