OPPORTUNI secures £1m in seed funding from Fuel Ventures to expand its public sector tendering platform.
Fuel Ventures led a £1m seed investment into the procurement platform.
OPPORTUNI provides a subscription platform that matches small and medium sized businesses with public sector procurement contracts using intelligent technology.
OPPORTUNI has secured £1m in seed funding led by Fuel Ventures. The company has developed a subscription service designed to simplify how small businesses discover and bid for public sector contracts.
The freshly raised capital will support the company as it scales its operations and expands access to its procurement matching platform. Public sector tendering has historically been fragmented across thousands of portals, presenting a significant barrier to entry for smaller firms.
Co-founded by Bill MacGregor and Tim Ward, OPPORTUNI aims to capture a share of the £225bn spent annually on public procurement by redirecting more opportunities towards small and medium enterprises.
From the founder
"OPPORTUNI will be the playbook for redirecting £225 billion a year to SMEs."
