One Planet Pizza secures £360k to expand production and enter new markets
The Norwich-based vegan pizza company raised the funds from Anglia Capital Group and New Anglia Capital.
One Planet Pizza creates plant-based frozen pizzas designed to offer sustainable food options for mainstream consumers.
Norwich-based frozen vegan pizza producer One Planet Pizza has raised £360k in funding from Anglia Capital Group and New Anglia Capital. The capital will be deployed to triple production capacity, secure new retail outlets across the UK, and expand into European markets.
The father and son team behind the business, Joe and Mike Hill, began producing pizzas from a restaurant kitchen in 2016 before moving to a dedicated production unit in Hethersett. Their product range features plant-based toppings, reduced salt and sugar content, and zero to landfill packaging.
Local investors participated through Anglia Capital Group alongside co-investment from New Anglia Capital, supporting the company's environmental mission and carbon reduction goals.
