Omeda Studios is an indie game developer building community-driven cross-platform titles. Its flagship project is a multiplayer online battle arena game called Predecessor.

London-based indie game developer Omeda Studios has secured £1.6m in seed funding to expand its team and establish a permanent studio office. The financing round was led by Silicon Valley gaming venture capital firm GFR Fund, with participation from Inventures, Progression Fund, 1Up Ventures, Aream & Co, and Ride Ventures. Angel investors Chris Lee, Jas Purewal, and Rupert Loman also contributed to the raise.

The capital will enable the studio to double its headcount through key technical hires, including senior programmers and visual effects artists. Founded in January 2020 by Robbie Singh alongside Andrea Garella and Steven Meilleur, the company is currently developing its debut title, Predecessor, which has already attracted notable early traction with over 100k signups and 35k Discord members ahead of launch.
