Oak Intranet provides a secure digital workplace platform designed to streamline internal communications and employee engagement for medium and large enterprises. The company operates from Newcastle upon Tyne and serves prominent brands across various sectors.

Oak Intranet has secured £2.1m in a seed follow-on funding round led by existing investor Maven Capital Partners. The capital injection includes contributions from regional funds managed by Maven, NorthStar Ventures, and a private investor.

The fresh funding will be deployed to accelerate the adoption of the company employee engagement and digital workplace solution across the UK. This transaction coincides with a leadership restructure featuring CEO Will Murray and Chairman Mark Quartermaine, alongside a relocation to new office premises in Newcastle.

The business has established a strong client base since its launch, supporting major corporate organisations with mobile-enabled internal communications. The latest financial backing positions the firm to scale its operations further as demand for enterprise digital workspaces continues to grow.
