London based artificial intelligence firm Nexus FrontierTech has secured £2.9m in seed funding to support its research and development alongside global expansion plans. The financing round was led by a Geneva based family office, with participation from private investors including Nick Fry, Jennifer Lewis and Tom Yoritaka.
Founded in 2015, the company provides configurable solutions designed to automate data intensive processes and shorten the deployment cycle of enterprise models. The newly raised capital will be directed towards accelerating research capabilities and driving international growth across the UK, United States and Asian markets.
The business has previously established a footprint in the Asia Pacific region and recently secured a three year contract with a major UK based bank. With the backing of its new investors, the firm intends to expand its client reach and scale operations for financial institutions.
