Dash cam manufacturer Nextbase has secured £10m in growth funding from private equity firm Sandton Capital Partners. The capital will be deployed to accelerate international expansion in North America and other territories, alongside advancing proprietary technologies such as 4G and 5G functionality.
Founded in 2013, the British consumer technology firm has scaled organically without external backing, achieving five consecutive years of revenue growth exceeding 30 percent annually. The business anticipates revenues of approximately £62m for the 2019 to 2020 financial year.
The investment arrives as the global dash cam market experiences rapid adoption, with projections estimating a total valuation of $7.5bn by 2027. Nextbase currently holds significant market share across the UK, Europe, and the US.
